Sonu Sood, an actor, is nothing short of a Messiah for the poor and destitute. In the previous two years, he has received widespread accolades for assisting hundreds of people with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. People from all over the country are hailing him after he just set another example of humanity.
This time, the actor rescued a man who had been critically injured in a car accident near the Kotkapura bypass in Punjab’s Moga district. Sonu took the injured man to the hospital in his truck, carrying him in his arms.
On social media, videos of Sonu Sood holding the man in his arms have gone viral. Witnesses say the incident happened late Tuesday night (February 8) near the Kotkapura bypass, when two vehicles collided.
Shortly after the accident, the actor, who was passing by, pulled over to assist the injured man. During the rescue, he received assistance from his teammates. The man’s condition has now been described as stable.

The actor’s kind gesture has been enthusiastically praised by his followers. Sonu is one of the few Bollywood stars with whom fans open out about their personal issues. He’s also given girls bicycles and organised teaching programmes for children in a number of places.
Sonu Sood helped 1,00,000 migrant labourers to their homes in five–six weeks in 2020, during the statewide lockdown following the Covid-19 epidemic, by using nine Shramik trains, 430 buses, and three flights. On May 26, 2020, he also transported 169 migrants from Kerala to Bhubaneswar.
The 48-year-old actor revealed plans to build 18 oxygen plants in the states of Punjab, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh last year, when India was dealing with the second wave of Covid-19. According to the actor, these 18 oxygen plants will supply up to 5,500 beds.
